Charging the battery

Find out how to charge the battery in your product so you can use it on the go.

To charge the speaker:

  1. Be sure the USB-C port is dry and free of debris.
  2. Using the Bose-provided USB cable or a similar USB cable, connect the USB-C end of the cable to the port on the bottom of the speaker.

  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power source capable of delivering at least 1.5 amps.

Plugging in overnight will not overcharge the battery.

Lithium batteries have a built-in auto-off feature when a full charge is reached to prevent the battery from being overcharged. Even while still plugged in, the battery level will have to drop below a certain point to trigger the charging function again.
