Deleting a My Bose account
If you wish to close your My Bose account, you can do so from within the Bose app. Closing your account will delete your entire My Bose account. You will not be able to access any Bose services or applications where you've signed into that account. This will also close accounts associated with the SoundTouch app and the Bose Connect app. Features of Bose smart products that require an account in the Bose app will also be lost.
To close your Bose account:
- In the Bose app
, tap on the account icon
in the upper-right corner.
- Under the My Bose heading, tap on the area with the account icon, name, and e-mail address.
A pop-up appears containing an e-mail address, first name, last name, and location. - At the bottom of the pop-up in red text, tap "Delete My Account."
If you do not want to delete your account at this time, tap on an area outside the pop-up.
To delete your My Bose account from the Bose SoundTouch app:
- Open the Bose SoundTouch app.
- In the upper-left corner, tap the Menu icon ☰.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Close My Account. This will open the account cancellation page in your device's web browser.
- Fill in the required fields, then tap Submit.
