Connecting a Bluetooth device using the Bose app
Find out how to use the Bose app to wirelessly pair your product to a Bluetooth device, like a smartphone or computer. This lets you control the sound you hear from your product.
You can connect a Bluetooth device using the Bose app or the buttons on your product.
Below, we'll show you how to connect using the Bose app. For help connecting without the app, see Connecting a Bluetooth device.
Select your product in the Bluetooth menu of the device.
Select the device you are trying to connect.
Smartphone, tablet, or other device
PC running Windows 11
PC running Windows 10
Mac running OS X
Chromebook
Use the app to put your product in pairing mode.
Note: The image may show a different product, but the process is the same.

- Open the Bose app.
- Tap "Connect" under the Bluetooth speaker section.
- Select "Source."
- Tap the "+" icon to the left of "Add new."
- Go to your Bluetooth device settings and select the Bose Speaker. For details on different device types, see the section below.
- Wait for the confirmation message. Once connected, the speaker will make a sound or the light will stop blinking. You’re now paired.
