To teach a learning remote the remote commands for your system:
- On the remote control, press the Settings button. (Tip: If the system menu does not appear on your TV, be sure the correct TV input is selected)
- Scroll down to select System Setup, then press the Enter button
- Scroll down to select Receive IR Commands, then scroll left to select Off
- Scroll down to select Send IR Commands, then scroll left to select On
- Connect the IR emitter to IR jack on the back of the system console. (For more info, see Programming your remote and refer to the IR emitter section)
- Face flat side of the emitter at the sensor on the learning remote
- Follow the instructions for the learning remote to teach it commands
- Once complete, return to your system menu and set Send IR Commands to Off and set Receive IR Commands to On
- Press the Exit button to exit the menu
