Stored music will not play

If you are unable to play the CD tracks that you have stored to your system's internal memory, try the following:

Check if you can play music stored on your system.

Check if the track time on the product display is advancing. If it is but you cannot hear sound, see No audio from product.

Wait for the CD storing process to finish.

A CD is not available to play until the storing process is complete. While a CD is storing, "CD XX% STORED" appears on the display. Wait until this message disappears before trying to access the disc in stored music.

Determine if the track or CD is in the Library.

On the remote, pressed the Stored button to select the uMusic source, then press Library button to open the uMusic menu. Search for the track or stored CD by CD title, artist, track or genre. If the CD wasn't initially recognized, it will show up as "No Label." Listen to any "No Label" albums in the Library to determine if the CD has already been stored.

For information on how to view stored CDs, see Navigating the uMusic library to locate music.

Reset your media center.

A reset is used to correct occasional product issues. It is not something that a product should require repeatedly. For more information, see Resetting your product.

Reset the uMusic software.

A uMusic reset corrects the data files that tell the system what music has been stored. This also erases all uMusic presets and uStations. For more info, see Resetting your product.
