Playing CDs

With the multi-CD changer connected, your Wave® music system operates as a four-disc changer. Now, when you play CDs, all the normal CD information appears on the display with one addition: the selected CD slot number (d1, d2, d3 or d4) appears in the center of the display.

Note: When switching from the FM, AM or AUX source to the CD source, the CD in the most recently used slot begins playing automatically. If that slot is empty, the next slot containing a CD is selected.

Loading CDs into the multi-CD changer

With your fingers on the outside edge of the disc, push the disc, label side up, all the way into an empty slot. An empty slot is indicated by an unlit disc slot indicator.

Disc slot indicators:

off: the disc slot is empty

solid green: the disc slot is full and currently playing

solid amber: the disc slot contains a cd, but it is not currently selected or playing

Selecting and playing a CD

On the remote, press CD to move to the desired CD slot. "READING DISC" will flash on the screen and the CD will automatically start to play. The CD number on the display tells you which CD slot is currently selected. Use the Seek/Track buttons to move forward and back through the disc.

Stopping and ejecting a CD

On the remote, press Stop/Eject once to stop a playing CD; press again to eject the selected CD. To eject another disc, press CD to move to the disc you want to eject and then press Stop/Eject.
